The Department of Electronics was established in the year 2012. Permanent affiliation for the B.Sc. Electronics course was granted by Bharathiar University Ref. No. BU/R/A1-B/2015/27250 dated 24.04.2015. It prides itself in offering exciting field of education which reflects changing trends in the knowledge and equipment’s, required for scientific investigation to meet the needs of science and industry. The Mission of the Department is to hone students to create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern tools to solve intricate technical problems for the betterment of society.

Department of Electronics offers Under Graduate Programme in Electronics (BSc Electronics). The subjects offered cover almost all upcoming and areas of significance viz., Analog and Digital Electronics, Advanced Communication Systems, Bio-MedicalInstrumentation, Microprocessor and Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things (IoT)etc.,

SKILL DEVELOPMENT COURSES

The College have a large percentage of ‘First Generation Learners’.Given the difference between the socio-economic backgroundof the learners and the white-collar culture of the work place, it becomes incumbent on the young graduate to acquire modes of various technical and soft skills capabilities. As an initiate of the Government of TamilNadu, various specialised courses under “NAAN MUDHALVAN” Scheme are conducted for the students, in collaboration with industrial partners and expert faculty.These coursesbid to fine tune and whet their skills, so that they can meet the challenges of securing employment and achieve successful career.
