Orientation Programs

 

Every Year the Library Orientation is given to the Freshers. During Pandemic the Orientation focussed on Open Access Resources, NLIST-INFLIBNET, Information and Digital Literacy. The link for the Online Orientation is shared to be accessed at any time.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME: 2023 – 24

UG Library Orientation

 

The Library orientation for UG Freshers was conducted in Library individually for every Course from 20th September to 9th October. Students were given instructions on how to use library, the things allowed to be carried and the schedule followed for lending the books Behavior of the students inside the Library and how to handle the reading materials, computer systems and the membership.

Online Subscribed resources and Open Access resources available for students NDLI, Virtual Library and Online Libraries/portals available like Vidhya Mithra and other INFLIBNET Initiatives.

 

PG Library Orientation

 

All the Freshers of PG courses were assembled in the AV Hall on 12th September and a session was conducted on 1. Library Usage  2.Students Behavior in Library  3.Book Lending schedule Along with 4.NLIST, 5.NDLI, 6.E-PG Pathshala,7. Shodh ganga, 8.DOAB, 9.DOAJ and several Open Access Portals.
