EDUCATIONAL VISITS

An educational visit, often referred to as a field trip or study tour, is an organized trip taken by students and educators to a location outside the traditional classroom environment. The primary goal of such a visit is to provide students with practical, hands-on learning experiences that complement their academic studies. During an educational visit, students have the opportunity to explore real-world applications of the concepts they learn in the classroom. For instance, visiting a museum, science centre, or industrial facility allows students to gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter by observing it in a tangible context. These visits offer experiential learning, critical thinking, and collaboration among students. They spark curiosity, inspire future academic or career interests, and provide a memorable learning experience that extends beyond textbooks. Physics Department organizes educational visits for undergraduate students periodically each year. These visits include trips to research institutes, laboratories, Science centres and other relevant sites that align with the Physics curriculum. They are meticulously planned to ensure they are educationally enriching and safe, with clear objectives that directly support the students' coursework and learning goals.
