THRUST AREAS OF RESEARCH

The Department of English, LRG Govt. Arts College for Women, Tirupur, introduced its Research Programme in the year 2014. It has in its fold, a dynamic and a dedicated team of faculty members who are focused on research. The thrust areas of research include Indian Literature, American Literature, Russian Literature and British Literature.

The English Department has published papers in outstanding and peer-reviewed journals from 2018 onwards till 2023.

• 15 papers have been published in leading journals (National / International)
• A TANSCHE Programme sponsored by the State Government of Tamilnadu was organized on 5^th & 6^th May 2022.
• An International Book Chapter was published in a leading journal in the year 2019.
