Consumer club of L. R. G. Government Arts College for Women, Tiruppur IS effectively acting since 2015 to create awareness among people and students on consumer rights and organize events that truly reflect with the motto “Aware, Alert and Act”.
The Consumer club activities are designed to:
- Promote Consumer Awareness: Educate students on their consumer rights and responsibilities.
- Practical Training: Teach students how to detect adulteration through physical examination and chemical analysis.
The student members of this club are advised to share the awareness what they learn to the other members. Major activities such as Rally, Invited talks and department/ intra college level essay writing, elocution, poem writing and quiz competition were conducted.
